As an independent filmmaker, creative director, graphic designer, screenwriter, and animation producer, I have a passion for combining my diverse set of skills and interests in the fields of art, technology, and storytelling. Through animation, I am able to bring these disciplines together in a unique and creative way.

I am driven by a relentless curiosity that pushes me to continually step out of my comfort zone and explore uncharted territories, with all the associated risks and rewards. The journey is always fascinating, and the experiences and knowledge gained from each destination are invaluable.

I have been fortunate enough to work on a wide range of exciting international projects and companies. However, I have come to realize that no professional career is truly fulfilling if it cannot be reconciled with a fair and sustainable way of life. This is why I have chosen to live in the mountains while collaborating with clients, professionals, and causes from all over the world on a remote basis.

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master; If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with triumph and disaster And treat those two imposters just the same;

Rudyard Kipling

I’ve always had a passion for animation, but my professional journey in this field began in the early 90s when I studied at the San Fernando School of Fine Arts. After graduation, I dove into the world of audiovisual production, taking on a variety of roles such as film production assistant, camera operator, and live show director.

In 1992, I produced and directed my first short film, «Jadoube,» which won several awards and helped me break into the industry as a director. This led to an opportunity to work with Canal+, where I directed special programs and helped launch thematic channels.

In the early 2000s, I was part of the team that created the first internet in Spain through a company called Teknoland. This experience solidified my skills as a multidisciplinary creative and led to my role as Creative Director at Fox Kids Channel first and Cartoon Network Spain later.

But I wanted to strike out on my own, so in 2004 I co-founded Ink Apache, an animation studio where I had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, experiment with different animation techniques, and hone my skills as a creative director.

Now, as BUZO, I focus mainly on animation and content creation for television, advertising, and social media. I’ve had a lot of challenges, but I’ve also learned a lot and had the chance to work on some truly exciting projects.
